Our Guides to Doing Business in the Dutch Caribbean (www.doingbusinessdutchcaribbean.com) have been fully updated. In the online guides, all relevant primary information can be found about the legal aspects of doing business in the Dutch Caribbean. The information is presented per topic as well as per island: Aruba, Curaçao, St. Maarten, Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba.

Entrepreneurs, investors and others with business interest in the Caribbean part of the Dutch Kingdom, use the online guide as a reference and as the first step in mapping the legal landscape of the jurisdictions where they (want to) do business. The website attracts more than 4,000 visitors each month.

Besides the update, the information about doing business on the six islands, has been expanded. For example, now there also is information about real estate and project development available for each island. There is also information regarding shipping in Aruba, Curaçao and St. Maarten. In particular, the relatively quick and cost efficient procedure for these three islands for arrests and judicial sales of vessels, are explained.

The VANEPS team specialized in Suriname is currently working on a guide for Suriname as well. This is the seventh location that will be added to the Guides to Doing Business in the near future.
