VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne launched four online Trademark Guides, in which all relevant information has been collected on legislation regarding registration and use of (trade)marks in Aruba, Curaçao, St. Maarten, and the BES Islands. The guides are conveniently arranged reference works for both the local and the international market, and contain step-by-step plans for entrepreneurs who want to have their trademarks registered on one (or more) of the Dutch Caribbean islands.
The Trademark Guides provide tangible tools, for instance regarding the registration or renewal of a trademark. Furthermore, they explain what a trademark holder should do when he loses his registration. The guides also discuss what rights a trademark holder has in case of infringement of his exclusive rights and what legal action and claims the trademark holder can then institute.
