Rogier van den Heuvel

Partner

Rogier van den Heuvel has over 15 years of experience in business and commercial litigation. He is one of the driving forces of our corporate litigation practice and a specialist in the field of competition law.

Rogier represents clients in stockholders’ disputes, M&A disputes and international trade conflicts. He is is a very experienced litigator and also an expert in the field of competition law. He represents clients both in court and in arbitration proceedings and apart from his local bar admission, he is also registered as an attorney-at-law with the Amsterdam Bar Association.

Rogier graduated from Leiden University and started his career at Simmons & Simmons in 2001. He completed the post-graduate specialist training in business dispute resolution at the Grotius Academy in 2006 and he switched to VANEPS in Curacao in 2012. Rogier is a lecturer in private international law at the Dutch Bar Association and the University of Curacao (UoC).

Based on this registration, he/she is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
