On Monday the 24th of June the VANEPS Thesis Award was awarded. The winner got picked from five theses from students of the law faculty of the University of Curaçao that were rewarded with and eight or higher: “New disability criterion for Curaçao?”, written by Nancy Huizing

Her thesis standed out by the systematic approach, comprehensive desk research and thorough comparative law research that all came together in a strong analytical conclusion. 

With this thesis award (ANG 1.000,-) we want to support local talent and encourage them to rise above themselves. VANEPS places great value in good legal education, because this creates opportunities for the future generation of lawyers.
