Seyed Navid was born in Iran and raised in the Netherlands. In 2012, he graduated in public law at the University of Amsterdam, soon after which he was hired as a law teacher at the adult education program of ROC Amsterdam. After obtaining his second master’s degree in civil law in 2015, Seyed Navid worked for the Dutch Rabobank.

As a student, Seyed Navid was on the board of various social organizations. He was the co-founder of a law clinic that specializes in administrative law and criminal law. Furthermore, he interned at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and several renowned commercial law firms, such as Houthoff Buruma, Allen & Overy and De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek.
