Inge van Hees-Wolswijk is specialized in business and financial law. She advises clients, including financial institutions and insurance corporations, on, inter alia, credit facilities and regulatory legislation of the Central Bank of Curacao and St. Maarten.

Furthermore, Inge assists clients in preparing collateral documentation and she supervises both local and cross-border mergers, acquisitions and restructurings. She also regularly advises on licenses and exemptions under the Foreign Exchange Regulations.

Before Inge made the switch to VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne, she had been a corporate lawyer at another law firm on Curacao for two years. Moreover, before she moved to Curacao in 2015, she had worked as a junior civil-law notary at the business law department of the renowned law firm NautaDutilh in the Netherlands for six years.

In 2009, Inge obtained her master’s degree in Notarial Law at the Radboud University in Nijmegen. She also completed the notarial vocational training and, in 2014, graduated with honors from the Grotius Academy in Corporate and Business Law.

  • Advising pension fund Pensioenfonds Caribisch Nederland on its investment in two Beechcraft 1900D aircraft for operation by Bonaire based airline EZ Air;
  • Assisting the lenders in the USD 34,5 mln financing for the renovation of the Curacao Marriott Hotel;
  • Assisting Delisle Walwyn St. Maarten on acquisition of 4 boat-regatta fleet led by championship Stars & Stripes 55.
