Last week, law firm VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne organized a successful Meet & Greet for conference participants during Green Aruba where Europe Meets the Americas. The conference was focused on sustainable energy, technology, infrastructure and tourism; four topics the firm has ample experience with.
The Meet & Greet was therefore used as a networking opportunity by many companies and organizations. Representatives of energy companies such as Curoil, Refineria di Korsou and Elmar, business service providers such as PwC and Deloitte, financial service providers such as AIB and the Central Bank, and associations such as ATIA attended the gathering. Former Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Jan-Peter Balkenende, also attended.
Over drinks, Tom Peeters, senior associate of the firm, gave a brief presentation about forms of cooperation for sustainable projects: Cooperation in Sustainability, a topic that fit seamlessly with the agenda of the conference and that Tom has studied extensively. As a result, he regularly lectures on this topic. For this occasion, he placed this in an Aruban perspective. On November 4, he will give a more extensive explanation of the structuring of sustainable projects in Bonaire, where VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne organizes a breakfast session that will be fully dedicated to this topic.
