VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne appoints two new partners

Roderik van Hees and Tjarda Tazelaar were added to the partnership of VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne. Both have no less than ten years of experience in the Netherlands and in the Dutch Caribbean. Roderik entered into the employ of VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne in 2015 and Tjarda has been employed at this Dutch Caribbean firm since February 2018. Roderik and Tjarda demonstrated to be of considerable value to the firm and its clients.

Roderik is an experienced lawyer specialized in litigation and commercial disputes. He assists, inter alia, local and international banks, multinationals, oil corporations and shipping corporations. He has ample experience with complex, often cross-border commercial disputes, stockholder disputes, directors’ and officers’ liability cases, enquiry procedures, the imposition and lifting of attachments and the enforcement of foreign rulings. Roderik: ‘I am very pleased with the appointment as partner at this firm. From this new position I hope to be able to assist many clients even better in the resolution of their disputes.’

Tjarda is an expert in the area of business law, specialized in mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures. He advises corporations, financial institutions and investors in various market sectors in both local and cross-border transactions. ‘VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne is a progressive firm with the ambition to expand the local and international M&A practice further.
