Dear Sir/Madam,

In view of the developments concerning the spread of COVID-19 and lockdown in Curacao and Bonaire, we hereby inform you of our business operations and the measures we take to ensure the continuity of our services to you.

Taking into account that circumstances can change every day, we assure you that we can continue to meet your business needs. Our office has robust IT systems and we have implemented a remote working plan which enables us to continue providing our services beyond our physical offices without significant interruptions.

In any case, the well-being of our colleagues and all those in our communities is paramount. We do not receive people at the office and we hold meetings by telephone or video conference. Almost all of our staff will work remotely from home. At the offices on those islands where the measures imposed by the governmental authorities so allow one attorney-at-law and one secretary are present. Hygiene measures are very strict and are intensively monitored. Of course, we constantly monitor the directives of the authorities and take extra measures when necessary.

Should you need advice regarding the impact of COVID-19 on any aspect of your business, you can contact our corona-helpdesk. You can always contact your regular contact within VANEPS via phone or e-mail.

Should you have any questions about the above explanation, please let us know.

Kind regards,

Tom Peeters
Managing Partner
