Biography
Freeke Kunst joined VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne in 1997. She has a broad experience in international trade and transportation law and mainly assists clients active in the maritime and aviation industry. Freeke represents ship owners and agents, mortgagees, repair yards, airports, airlines, freight forwarders and insurers in all jurisdictions that VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne is active, mainly concentrated in Curacao, St. Maarten, St. Eustatius and Bonaire.

Freeke was part-time lecturer at the University of the Netherlands Antilles for maritime and transportation law for several years and has lectured at various international conferences. She is the author of the Netherlands Antilles contribution to the Maritime Law Handbook (Kluwer) and published articles in the Maritime Advocate, Lloyd's List and Fairplay on transportation and enforcement of claims against vessels.
