Biografie
Eva is opgegroeid op Curaçao. In 1998 verliet ze het eiland om in Nederland aan de Universiteit Leiden rechten te studeren. Na haar studie trad ze in dienst bij een middengroot advocatenkantoor in Leiden waar ze voornamelijk adviseerde over ondernemingsrechtelijke vraagstukken. In 2010 keerde ze terug naar Curaçao waar ze in dienst bij VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne. Naast de ondernemingsrechtelijke kwesties adviseert Eva ook op het gebied van maritiem- en vervoersrecht. Zij is regelmatig te vinden op ons kantoor op Bonaire, waar zij haar Bonairiaanse collega’s bijstaat als Flying Lawyer.


 

 
Eva is recent betrokken geweest bij:
  • Mortgagees in arrest of vessels and bunkers in Sint Eustatius, Bonaire, Aruba, Sint Maarten, Curacao
  • Several claimants relating to arrests of vessels located within the territorial waters of Aruba and the other islands of the former Netherlands Antilles
  • The mortgagee in connection with the arrest of a roll on/ roll off vessel in St. Maarten and subsequent negotiations with parties regarding the private sale of the vessel
  • The mortgagee in the enforced sale in Aruba of the MV DS Performer, an oil tanker with a GT of 61.764
  • The mortgagee in the private sale in Curacao of a Crude Oil Tanker with a GT of 39.036
