BiographyProf. dr. Frank Kunneman was senior lecturer at the University of Amsterdam from 1986. In 1994 he became full professor of Civil Law at the University of the Netherlands Antilles, Curacao. He was Dean of the Law School for years. He is also an arbitrator, and was a deputy member of the Joint Court of Justice of the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba, until he joined VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne in 1999 (Managing Partner since 2000).
He is the author of six books and dozens of papers on the subjects of Civil Law and corporate governance and is and was editor (in chief) of various legal magazines and books. Frank was Deputy Chairman of the Advisory Council of the Netherlands Antilles (Curacao), which is the highest advisory body in the country, chaired by the Governor of the Netherlands Antilles from August 2007 till april 2011.
