On August 28, 2008, the Curaçao Civil Service Tribunal rendered a judgment in the case instituted by a group of police inspectors in the position of Team Leader against the Government of the Netherlands Antilles. The police inspectors objected against the refusal of the Government to decide on the pay increase claimed by them.
