The 2011 Carilec Engineering Conference is being held in the World Trade Center in July 2011. The Caribbean Electric Utility Service Corporation (CARILEC) is an association of electric utilities, suppliers, consultants, engineers and other stakeholders operating in the electricity industry in the Caribbean. As a Carilec-member, Aqualectra assists with the organization of this event. The theme of the conference is: The impact of international developments on the energy sector in our region. Between 200-250 people from different companies in the region, the USA and other countries attended the conference.
