Anthony Vleeming sworn in as lawyer
ARUBA - Lawyer Anthony Vleeming has been sworn in in Aruba. He is employed with the firm of VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne Aruba under Jeannot de Cuba’s leadership. Anthony is the 35th lawyer of the firm. Since August 2012, he has practiced law there, while he already assists several companies in commercial practice.
Anthony used to live in Aruba since he was fourteen, and went to secondary school at Colegio Arubano. In February 2006 he got his bachelor’s degree in Aruba law at the University of Aruba. Anthony followed the master’s degree program at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam and he graduated in early 2008 with the specialization private law.
Before he remigrated to Aruba, Anthony worked with GMW Advocaten in The Hague, where he assisted local companies and multinationals in the field of general contract law and corporate law. He is an experienced lawyer ad litem and was appointed trustee in various bankruptcies by the Court in The Hague.
VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne has had an office in Aruba since 1997, and beside Anthony the lawyers Jeannot de Cuba (partner),David Wever, and Dirk Ormel are employed there. With other offices in Bonaire, Curacao, St. Maarten, and a Dutch Caribbean Desk in Amsterdam, the firm is found on all islands of the Dutch Caribbean. The firm provides legal services to companies, governments, NGOs and individuals with regard to transactions and litigation.
