Prize for best paper law faculty UNA
On Monday, June 27, last, the VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne prize was awarded for the eleventh time. This year the prize went to John de Freitas for his paper titled “The medical informed consent after the two informed consent rulings of November 2001”. The VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne prize is awarded each year for the best final paper of the Law Faculty of the University of the Netherlands Antilles. With this prize the law firm wants to reward good students for the hard work they did when writing a paper making both a scientific and a social contribution. The winner receives a check, as well as a certificate as a lasting keepsake. The best paper is selected by a committee specifically appointed for this purpose. It not only reviews the paper as to legal quality, but also as to creativity and social relevance of the subject.
